Hello, again

It’s good to hear from all of you, and I look forward to your e-mails.  Just so you don’t think I’m snubbing you, I’ll try to answer each and every one of them, but I do work a fulltime job.

For those of you that did not know, I’ve been writing since I was 19.  I’ve completed 15 novels and will continue writing until my last breath.  “Wooden Warriors” is my first attempt at self-publishing.

Although “The Snake Charmer” (2005) was moderately successful, the publisher did no advertising, and it was not cost efficient for me to do much of it.  Word of mouth and 20,000-plus e-mails became my advertising source for that book, a semi-autobiographical novel set in the mythical town of Carver Lake.

“Wooden Warriors” is nearly the exact opposite of its predecessor.  It is an erotic horror novel that one of my early readers penned “The creepiest novel…” that they had ever read.

Some of you have asked me why I write.  The answer is simple; it keeps me sane.  However, I am not the person to ask “how to write”.  There are dozens of great Web sites for this.  In fact, I just joined FanStory.com in hopes of honing my hobby.

Until later….

Ron

This blank page is why I am here.  We’ve all been here at one time or another, that nasty virus called writer’s block.  Hopefully, by posting in the forum and meeting new writing friends, it will help all of us conquer that “blank page blues.”
